The Purkiss Partnership is a Criminal Defence Specialist Solicitors Practice based in Farnham, Surrey. We offer a complete service from Police Station interviews to Magistrates and Crown Court Trials, supporting clients accused of the most minor traffic offences through to the most complex and serious criminal offences.

If you have been contacted by the police or summoned to court, you need a criminal defence solicitor, even if you are innocent.

In many cases the service we provide is covered by Legal Aid and therefore you may not have to pay anything. We have a number of Duty Solicitors who cover Surrey and Hampshire on a weekly basis.

Support at the Police Station is always free of charge and having a Legal Representative present ensures that your rights and entitlements are protected and you will have disclosure and an explanation of the charges and the interview process.

We can also represent you in any appeal hearings. The Purkiss Partnership uses the best advocates to get you the best results. In addition to our in-house Criminal Defence Advocates we also work closely with a number of Barristers Chambers across the UK.

The Partnership maintains Occupiers Liability Insurance, details of which can be supplied on request.

Complaints Procedure

The Partnerships written ‘Complaints Policy’ can be supplied on request.
If any client has any issue regarding the services the firm has provided, he or she is welcome to contact our Practice Manager Julie Ferguson on 01252 344311 who will investigate any concerns raised in accordance with the Partnership written ‘Complaints Policy’. Any complaints regarding Julie Ferguson should be directed to Andrew Purkiss. 

Legal Ombudsman

If any client remains dissatisfied at the conclusion of any complaints investigation undertaken he or she may apply to the Legal Ombudsman, any such referral should ordinarily be made within 6 months of the conclusion of the relevant matter.

Crown Court Listings
